Sci-Fit’s Carb Suppress has been designed to reduce the body’s ability to absorb carbohydrates through the small intestine.
How does Carb Suppress work? The “carbohydrate inhibiting” action of Carb Suppress is centered around the main ingredient “Phaseolus Vulgaris” (white kidney bean extract). Research has shown Phaseolus Vulgaris to inhibit the ability of the enzyme alpha amylase to break down starchy carbohydrates.
• Reduces carbohydrate absorption
• Contains Phaseolus Vulgaris
• Breaks down starchy carbohydrates
Starchy carbohydrates are too large to be absorbed through the small intestine. They must be broken down into smaller molecules and to do this you need the enzyme alpha amylase. As Carb Suppress inhibits the action of alpha amylase, the starchy carbohydrates are not able to be absorbed and will simply be passed through.
Staff Notes: Carb Suppress, developed by Sci-Fit, reduces carbohydrate absorption by breaking them down with its main ingredient, Phaseolus Vulgaris.
